The Centers for Disease Control recently reported that more doctors are recommending exercise for their patients. The report found that between 2000 and 2010 the percentage of adults receiving advice to exercise increased by nearly 10 percent.  The advice was given to those with a variety of health problems, including: hypertension, cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes.  Physical activity has been proven to reduce the risk of chronic health conditions. Regular Exercise can reduce medication dependence and improve the quality of life for everyone, especially older adults.
