Experience the Magic of Chemistry in celebration of National Chemistry Week. University of Tennessee Director of Chemistry Labs, KidsU and UT Non-Credit instructor, Dr. Al Hazari and company will celebrate with the long-running Magic of Chemistry show. Witness demonstrations that that entertain and educate by unraveling the mystery of how everyday substances work.

Dr. Al Hazari was recently on WBIR Channel 10’s Live at Five at Four program demonstrating a little of what to expect at the show.

The show is this Tuesday, October 18 from 7-8pm at 555 Dabney-Buefhler Hall. Admission is free, however in recognition of the theme, “Chemistry—Our Health, Our Future!” a donation of a bar of soap for those in need is requested. For more information call 865-974-1065.

This past summer Dr. Al Hazari taught Fun With Forensics: Adventures In Chemistry for KidsU.  The class became investigators by exploring scientific and chemical principles and techniques used to detect criminal acts. This winter Dr. Al Hazari will also a teach a Forensic Chemistry class for adults this winter. Check back with Personal Development for registration.
