Non-credit instructor Rick Penpek will teach two courses on October 28 to help HR professionals learn how to structure effective employee compensation and benefit plans:

Structuring Compensation Plans (9 a.m. to Noon) — Learn how to write accurate, quantifiable job descriptions, conduct salary surveys, and develop a salary structure.

Structuring Benefit Plans (1 to 4 p.m.) — Learn about different types of programs that provide the employer and employee tax advantages, savings, and lower costs. Develop strategies to effectively restructure your benefit programs without creating employee relations issues.

The registration fee for each course is $119.

Penpek’s experience includes more than 15 years of high-level HR program management for various manufacturing and service organizations. He has developed and managed HR programs/departments in compensation, benefits, and employee/labor relations.
