An engaged and productive workforce begins with your front-line supervisors.

UT Professional & Personal Development offers a non-credit certificate in supervisory management designed to deliver practical information that is immediately applicable to your workplace.

If you’re a supervisor, these courses can provide a firm foundation upon which to build future leadership and management development.

Adults pursuing the certificate must complete four core courses, three electives, and a technology elective.

All four core courses will be offered in Fall 2010: Introduction to Supervision (Sept. 22), HR Basics for Supervisors (Oct. 1), Mastering Your Time (Oct. 7), and Problem Solving & Decision Making (Oct. 15).

Conquering Procrastination (Oct. 19) and Creative & Critical Thinking (Dec. 1) will be offered as electives in addition to two new online courses—Innovation in the Workplace and EEOC & ADA: What Supervisors Need to Know.

The technology elective may be satisfied by taking one of many computer courses.

We also offer an “Advanced Topics” certificate in supervisory management. Click here for details.
