The volunteer leadership of the Seniors for Creative Learning (SCL) organization has assembled a very interesting schedule of fall programming.

Knoxville News Sentinel humor columnist Sam Venable, Knoxville Tourism & Sports Corp. CEO Gloria Ray, and UT Lady Vols athletic director Joan Cronan are three of the presenters who will explore topics such as history, music, religion, science, and sports.

SCL will kick off the fall schedule with a members-only barbecue on Thursday, September 2, at the John T. O’Connor Senior Center in Knoxville.

Read the SCL’s latest newsletter with complete program dates and descriptions.

The cost of membership is $40 per person or $55 per couple. You may register at UT Professional & Personal Development either online or by calling (865) 974-0150.

SCL is a volunteer organization supported by membership dues, UT Professional & Personal Development, and the O’Connor Senior Center. All members must be 55 or older.
