Summer vacation is almost over for school children in East Tennessee.

But there’s still time for students in rising grades 4-6 to take part in our final Kids U camp of 2010 — Rockets!

You’ll study rocket flight, including the principles of flight, history, and rocket design.

Then instructor Paul Lewis of the University of Tennessee’s Dept. of Physics will help you build a flying model rocket complete with a motor — just like the space shuttle.

You’ll even make a rocket you can fly indoors!

The camp will be held from 1-4 p.m. on July 28-30. Online registration is available.
