An East Tennessee regional conference for the Tennessee Alliance for Continuing Higher Education (TACHE) will be held May 7 at the UT Conference Center in downtown Knoxville.

Continuing education professionals throughout East Tennessee are invited to participate in the day-long conference that features presentations by business training professional Chris Coyne and State Rep. Harry Brooks (R-Knoxville) and a tour of the Howard Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy.

Coyne frequently teaches business and leadership courses for UT Professional & Personal Development.

Conference registration is $25.

Dr. Fadia Alvic, assistant director of UT Independent Study, is the current TACHE president, while Ann Boyd, associate coordinator in Independent Study, is the current TACHE senior regional director.
