The work of UT non-credit instructor Mary Pankiewicz was featured in an article on chronic disorganization in yesterday’s Knoxville News Sentinel.

Pankiewicz, a certified professional organizer who regularly teaches courses on organization, is trying to raise awareness about the differences between the terms “chronic disorganization” and “hoarding.”

“The chronically disorganized face disorganization over a long period of time … often years,” Pankiewicz said in the article. “In many cases, their disorganization affects their lives even after they’ve tried self-help methods.”

Pankiewicz is scheduled to teach three related courses for UT Professional & Personal Development this spring: Conquer Clutter (March 24), Conquer Home Paper Piles (April 19), and Organizing Children’s Stuff (May 11). Each course is economically priced at $39.
