law_booksThere is strong interest in the UT Paralegal Certificate Program, according to attendance at our information sessions and Web site traffic.

Twelve prospective students attended an information session with instructor Steve Karr and me last night in Nashville, and I’m meeting with 20 prospects tonight in Knoxville.

Several people have indicated they’re looking for a new career opportunity, and research shows a positive job outlook for paralegals and legal assistants. (Learn more from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.)

Our fall program begins Sept. 15 in Knoxville and Sept. 17 in Nashville. Courses are taught by attorneys who actively practice law in each city.

If you’d like to learn more about the program, we’re hosting another information session in Knoxville on Sept. 1 and in Nashville on Sept. 2. Please e-mail me if you’d like to attend.
